We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and safety-focused Truck Driver / General Hand to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role that combines local metropolitan deliveries with general workshop and yard duties. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a balance of driving, physical work, and being part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate Prime Movers and Rigid Trucks for local and metropolitan deliveries, including the transport of oversize loads.

- Load, secure, and transport freight in accordance with all relevant safety regulations and company procedures.

- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, including forklifts.

- Assist with receiving, storing, and organising stock within the yard.

- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop and yard environment.

- Assist with general workshop and yard duties as required.

- Provide friendly and professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.

- Complete pre-start vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

Qualifications & Experience





To be successful in this role you will have:

- Current HC (Heavy Combination) driver's licence.

- Current LF Forklift licence.

- A clean and verifiable driving history.

- A solid commitment to workplace health and safety.

- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting.

- Excellent reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
