Thermal Systems Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician/Electrician to join our team in Canning Vale. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety - working in the Perth metro area, troubleshooting and servicing equipment, as well as producing high quality precision wired electrical control panels and also burner related gas trains and equipment in a workshop environment.
What you'll be doing
- On-site breakdown repairs and regular servicing of industrial heating equipment as well as workshop electrical service/maintenance work and switchboard manufacture and testing.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
- Completing service records of work performed and materials used
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain solid communication throughout all stages of the job
- Willingness to participate in an after-hours on call roster (Following a successful training/trial period)
What we're looking for
- Valid A-Grade Electrician or Restricted Electrical License
- Class I Gas Fitting Permit (Preferred but not essential)
- Current C Class WA Driver's License
- Previous experience within the industrial gas industry would be highly regarded
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, organised and safety focused
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and also be part of a team
- A positive outlook with a willingness to learn
