As part of our continued commitment to operational excellence, regulatory compliance and harm minimisation in the evolving AML/CTF and gaming harm minimisation landscape, an exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced and detail-focused professional to join the Club in the newly created role of Full time Gaming Compliance Officer.
The role
Working as a key member of the Operational Management team and reporting directly to the Gaming Manager, the Gaming Compliance Officer is responsible for leading the Club's gaming compliance framework, ensuring the highest standards of governance, regulatory compliance and operational integrity across Gaming Operations. This is a hands-on role where you will oversee compliance across Responsible Gambling, Harm Minimisation, AML/CTF, Gaming Regulations and venue operational standards, while driving a proactive culture of risk management, accountability and continuous improvement. You will work closely with the Gaming Manager, AML/CTF Compliance Officer and frontline team members to ensure the Club remains compliant with legislative obligations and industry best practice.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the Club's gaming compliance framework by monitoring, auditing and reporting on Gaming, Responsible Gambling, AML/CTF and legislative compliance obligations.
- Drive the Club's harm minimisation strategy through responsible gambling initiatives, customer welfare processes, self-exclusion management, staff education and compliance monitoring.
- Coordinate and support the implementation and ongoing effectiveness of the Club's AML/CTF Program, including transaction monitoring, customer due diligence, investigations, reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee compliance with gaming legislation through regular audits, operational reviews, regulatory submissions and effective management of gaming machine, player account and venue compliance requirements.
- Maintain and enhance the Club's Gaming Plan of Management, compliance systems, procedures and reporting frameworks to minimise regulatory risk and support operational excellence.
- Deliver engaging compliance training, briefings and coaching to operational leaders and frontline employees, building capability and fostering a strong culture of compliance, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Prepare compliance reports, identify emerging risks and trends, recommend corrective actions and provide timely reporting to management and key stakeholders.
- Partner with operational leaders to maintain high venue standards, promote effective risk management practices and ensure compliance is embedded into everyday operations.

- Experience in gaming, compliance, risk, audit or regulatory environments.
- Strong understanding of gaming legislation and AML/CTF obligations.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to interpret legislation and implement practical compliance solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional, confidential and solutions-focused approach.
- RSA, RCG and Advanced RCG is essential.
- AML/CTF Compliance Officer training is desirable.
