Imaginable is currently looking for aspiring university students in the field of Psychology, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Counselling, to join our small team of Therapy Assistants!

The role of a Therapy Assistant is to implement, support, and continue therapy homework outside of Allied Health appointments. This may be at home, in school, out in the community, or wherever therapy goals are achieved.

Your role will involve:

- Provide 1-to-1 mobile assistance to clients with specific needs such as developmental delays, autism level 2 and 3, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and more

- Plan, prepare and conduct your own client sessions based on therapy goals where you can flex your creativity and fun

- Provide feedback to families, therapy teams, and relevant supports





- Gain real-world client experience in the Allied Health Industry

- Be guided by your client's Allied Health Team, supervised by Imaginable, and learn from team networking sessions with other Imaginable Therapy Assistants

- A adaptable schedule that works perfectly for those who are currently undertaking their Allied Health studies at university

Job Requirements:

- Currently studying or have studied an Allied Health Degree

- Availability at least 3 weekday afternoons per week for mainly school aged clients

- Preferred previous experience with ASD, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Downs Syndrome etc.

- Preferred previous experience working with children

- Have your own secure car and valid drivers license

- Current Blue Card

- Police Check
