About the role

We are seeking an experienced Crane Truck Driver - to join the team at Killmore Plant Services Pty Ltd. This is a full-time position based in Kiama, NSW 2533. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and managing Hiab-equipped trucks, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of loads whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position is integral to our operations, supporting our commitment to delivering reliable logistics and transport services to our clients.

Key responsibilities

1. Operating Hiab-equipped trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations

2. Loading, unloading and securing loads using the Hiab crane system in accordance with weight distribution and safety guidelines

3. Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck and equipment are in optimal working condition

4. Maintaining accurate logbooks, delivery documentation and timesheets as required

5. Communicating effectively with dispatch, clients and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries

6. Driving to designated locations within scheduled timeframes whilst maintaining professional driving standards

7. Adhering to all workplace health and safety requirements and company policies

8. Responding to any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly and reporting them to management

9. Assisting with minor maintenance and equipment checks as required

What we're looking for

1. Current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence with a clean driving record

2. Current High Risk Work card - C2 minimum

3. White card

4. Proven experience operating a truck mounted Hiab crane

5.



Demonstrated experience in road transport or heavy vehicle operation

6. Strong knowledge of load securing, weight distribution and safety regulations

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

9. High level of attention to detail and organisational skills

10. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks

11. Willingness to comply with all workplace health and safety requirements
