POSITION PURPOSEThe Senior Clinical Scientist is responsible for leading clinical evidence generation activities that support the development, validation, regulatory approval, reimbursement and commercialisation of Proteomics International's diagnostic and prognostic products.The role provides scientific leadership across clinical development programs, coordinating clinical research, evidence generation, scientific publications, reimbursement and regulatory activities while working closely with internal teams, clinicians, researchers and external partners to supports product adoption and commercial success. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES· Lead the planning, coordination and execution of multiple concurrent clinical studies to generate high-quality clinical evidence supporting product development and commercialisation. · Lead the evaluation, interpretation and communication of biomarker and clinical datasets, including undertaking and overseeing statistical analyses, to support product development, regulatory submissions, reimbursement activities and commercial decision-making. · Prepare and oversee scientific publications, conference presentations, technical reports, grant applications and supporting documentation for regulatory submissions, reimbursement applications and health technology assessments. · Manage ethics, governance, clinical study documentation, sample acquisition and study delivery to ensure compliance with ethical, regulatory and quality requirements. · Build and maintain collaborative relationships with clinical investigators, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Clinical Advisory Boards (CABs), hospitals, research organisations and strategic clinical partners. · Lead the development, validation and continuous improvement of diagnostic algorithms, predictive models and clinical performance assessments.



· Contribute to clinical strategy, translational research initiatives and evaluation of new diagnostic opportunities to support future product development. · Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with the Company's Quality Management System (QMS), governance requirements and applicable regulatory standards. KEY RELATIONSHIPSInternalDirector Clinical Science, Product Development, Clinical Laboratories, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Product Management, Commercial, and external scientific collaborators.ExternalClinicians, hospitals, research collaborators, Key Opinion Leaders, Clinical Advisory Boards, academic institutions, research organisations, industry partners and funding organisations. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS· Minimum 8 years' experience in clinical research, diagnostics, biotechnology, medical devices, translational medicine or regulated healthcare, with demonstrated experience leading clinical studies and clinical evidence generation. · Strong understanding of clinical research methodology, biomarker validation, diagnostic product development and translational research, with experience undertaking and interpreting statistical analyses using R, SAS, SPSS, STATA or equivalent. · Demonstrated experience preparing scientific publications, technical reports and clinical evidence supporting regulatory submissions, reimbursement activities and health technology assessments.



· Excellent scientific writing, communication, stakeholder engagement and project management skills, including experience coordinating ethics and governance submissions and managing multiple concurrent complex clinical research projects. · Postgraduate qualification (Masters or PhD preferred) in Biomedical Science, Clinical Research, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Medical Science or a related discipline. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONSThe Senior Clinical Scientist is expected to:· Deliver high-quality clinical evidence that supports product development, regulatory approval, reimbursement and commercialisation. · Lead multiple concurrent clinical studies delivered on time and in accordance with ethical, regulatory and quality requirements. · Produce high-quality scientific publications and clinical evidence that strengthen the Company's scientific reputation. · Build strong collaborative relationships with internal teams, clinicians and external research partners. · Demonstrate scientific leadership, professionalism, integrity and a commitment to continuous improvement.
