The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our maintenance team, supporting a national fleet of mobile drilling equipment across multiple mining operations.

This is a hands-on role with real variety, travel, and exposure across site operations. Working a 14/14 roster, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and improving electrical systems across a mobile drill fleet. If you’re a motivated and adaptable Electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship and getting the job done right, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Commission, maintain, and support a fleet of Epiroc Smart 6M mobile drill rigs, including scheduled, breakdown, and statutory electrical servicingMaintain Raise Drill and Underground Diamond Drill fleets, covering all electrical maintenance including preventative, breakdown, and compliance workPerform electrical fault finding, diagnostics,



and repairs across mobile drilling equipmentDrive equipment reliability and availability through proactive maintenance and continuous improvementEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with statutory and site requirementsWork closely with maintenance and operations teams to reduce downtime and improve performance

Qualifications / Requirements

Licensed ElectricianElectrical licences across WA, NSW, and QLD (or ability to obtain)Current Senior First Aid/CPR and Low Voltage RescueStrong understanding of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring RulesExperience with PLCs, RCS control systems, AC drives, VFDs, and CAN bus fault finding (highly regarded)Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar roleAustralian citizen or permanent residentAbility to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screeningCurrent Police Clearance (within 6 months)
