As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Minor Works Supervisor with a trade background who enjoys leading multiple projects from initial enquiry through to successful completion.

About the Role

As our Minor Works Supervisor, you will oversee the planning, estimating, coordination and delivery of a diverse range of minor works projects throughout the Perth metropolitan area including commercial maintenance and residential builds.

Working closely with our clients, subcontractors and internal team, you'll be responsible for ensuring every project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the high standards VITO Build is known for.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting site inspections and meeting with clients to understand project requirements

- Preparing scopes of work, estimates, quotations and variations

- Supervising, planning and coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors

- Managing multiple projects simultaneously

- Monitoring quality, safety and project progress

- Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and company procedures

- Building and maintaining strong client relationships

- Identifying opportunities for additional works where appropriate

- Completing project documentation, reporting and handovers

- Supporting the Estimator at times for office fit-out works

- Assisting with procurement and scheduling to achieve efficient project delivery

- Calculate take-offs from drawings and software

About You





You are a qualified tradesperson who has progressed into supervision or project delivery and understands what it takes to successfully manage building works.

You enjoy being on site, working with people and finding practical solutions to construction challenges.

You'll be someone who is personable, communicates well and leads by example.

You will ideally have:

- Trade qualification

- Experience supervising commercial maintenance or minor works projects

- Experience in residential builds

- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications

- Experience preparing estimates, quotations and variations

- Excellent planning and organisational skills

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Sound understanding of Australian building standards and WHS requirements

- Current White Card

- Current Driver's Licence

- First Aid qualification

- Experience using software including Microsoft Project, Excel and Xero
