CIMIC Group is seeking a passionate and experienced Advisor, Learning & Development to support the delivery of our Learning & Development (L&D;) strategy across the business.
In this role, you will partner with stakeholders to identify capability needs, develop innovative learning solutions and deliver impactful development programs that support employee growth, leadership capability and project success. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous learning while ensuring training programs align with business objectives, compliance requirements and future workforce needs.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Learning & Development, you will provide expert advice, guidance and practical support to deliver engaging and effective learning initiatives across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify skill gaps, learning needs and development opportunities across the business.
- Coordinate and deliver targeted learning programs, workshops and training initiatives.
- Support leadership development programs for current and emerging leaders.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness and drive continuous improvement through learner feedback and reporting.
- Develop and promote blended learning solutions, including e-learning, workshops and on-the-job training.
- Manage compliance training requirements and support timely completion across the business.
- Support onboarding programs and key learning initiatives, including Project Fundamentals training.
- Contribute to the CIMIC Graduate Program and broader workforce development initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal subject matter experts and external training providers.
- Promote an inclusive learning culture through cultural awareness and diversity-focused learning solutions.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Qualifications
- Degree qualification in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or a related discipline.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Development or a related field.
- Experience implementing people and capability initiatives in agile business environments.
- Demonstrated experience designing, delivering and evaluating learning solutions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
- Understanding of employment and WHS legislation within a corporate environment.
- Experience using systems such as Oracle, Damstra and Microsoft Office applications.
