We are looking for a qualified and motivated Mechanic to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Repair and replace engines, transmissions, clutches, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and other vehicle components.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify required repairs.
- Complete road tests before and after repairs where required.
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Assist with roadside breakdowns and emergency repairs when required.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and maintenance recommendations.
Skills and Experience
- Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
- Current Australian Driver Licence (manual licence preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated.
- Experience with diagnostic scan tools is highly regarded.

Pay: $55,488.00 – $101,848.40 per year
