About our Role

AWX is seeking reliable and hardworking Civil & Construction Labourers to join our growing team across Townsville and surrounding areas. These roles offer opportunities across a variety of projects including roadworks, infrastructure, commercial construction and civil works.

You'll be working with supportive crews on well-run sites that value safety, teamwork and reliability. These positions offer the chance to gain valuable on-site experience while securing ongoing short- and long-term work opportunities.

What you'll do

* General labouring across civil and construction sites
* Assist with site preparation, trenching, concreting, pipe laying and earthworks
* Operate basic machinery and equipment to move materials and support site operations
* Use hand and power tools safely and effectively on site
* Manual handling including loading, unloading and moving construction materials
* Support tradespeople, machine operators and supervisors with day-to-day site tasks
* Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas
* Follow all site safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture

What you'll need or Tickets & experience you'll need

* Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport




* Construction White Card (or ability to obtain)
* Previous civil or construction labouring experience highly regarded
* Physically fit and capable of manual labour in outdoor environments
* Adaptable and willing to work extended hours when required
* Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions safely
