About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Representative to join our growing sales team at our Balcatta location in Perth, Western Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced tradies looking to transition into a sales-focused role within the trailer industry. This is a full-time position based in Balcatta, WA 6021. In this role, you will be the face of Able Trailers, building strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing expert product knowledge to drive sales and customer satisfaction. Your hands-on trade background will be invaluable in understanding our customers and communicating the benefits of our trailer solutions with authenticity and credibility.

Key responsibilities

1. Engage with potential and existing customers to understand their trailer requirements and recommend suitable solutions

2. Provide expert product knowledge and technical advice to customers, leveraging your trade background to build trust and credibility

Present product features, specifications, and pricing to customers in a clear and compelling manner

4. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business

5. Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators

6. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, managing the sales pipeline from initial inquiry to completion

7. Collaborate with the wider team to ensure smooth customer delivery and after-sales support

8. Attend to customer inquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face consultations

9. Track and engage in consistent interactions with potential customers

10. Stay up to date with product developments, market trends, and competitor offerings

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience working in the trades industry, with a solid understanding of trade-related needs and customer base

2. Tech-competence and the ability to maintain a high cadence using technology

3. A genuine desire to transition into a sales role with enthusiasm for learning the trailer industry

4. Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers

5. Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions

6. Results-driven mindset with a commitment to achieving sales targets

Organisational skills and attention to detail in managing customer interactions and sales administration

8. A valid Australian driver's licence

9. Reliability, punctuality, and a professional approach to work

10. Experience in sales, customer service, or a related field would be advantageous, but charisma is the biggest asset we look for - we can train the rest

11. Knowledge of the trailer industry or similar products is desirable but not essential
