Fairway Panel & Paint is a long-established, family-owned automotive repair business that has proudly serviced Fremantle and surrounding suburbs for over 50 years. We specialise in quality smash repairs, refinishing and waterborne paint systems, and we're looking for an experienced Automotive Spray Painter / Vehicle Refinisher to join our close-knit team.
This is not a production-line environment. We don't believe in rushing jobs out the door. Instead, we take pride in delivering exceptional finishes and giving our team the time, equipment and support to do the job properly.

About the role
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality paint finishes across a variety of repair work, including:
- Vehicle preparation, priming and spray painting
- Colour matching and blending using waterborne paint systems
- Maintaining spray guns, tools and equipment
- Monitoring workshop consumables including abrasives, tapes and filters
- Working independently while maintaining exceptional quality standards
About you
We're looking for someone who genuinely cares about their workmanship and takes pride in producing outstanding results.
You'll ideally have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in automotive spray painting
- An Australian-recognised Spray Painter qualification (apprentices with relevant experience are encouraged to apply)
- Experience using waterborne paint systems
- Current Australian C Class Driver Licence
- The ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
- A commitment to quality over speed and a skilled approach to every job
