About the role
As our Tax Accountant, you'll work directly with business owners and high-value clients across both compliance and advisory services.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- preparing financial statements and tax returns across all entity types
- delivering proactive tax planning and advisory recommendations
- assisting clients with structuring, cashflow and growth planning
- managing client relationships as a trusted advisor
- identifying opportunities to add value for clients
- reviewing junior staff work and providing mentoring
- participating in client meetings and strategic planning.
What we're looking for
- Full Australian working rights essential
- Min. 3 years Australian public practice accounting experience essential
- CA or CPA qualification (or currently completing) highly regarded
- Solid knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance
- Confidence managing client relationships with excellent communication skills
- Xero and cloud accounting platform experience highly regarded
- Business advisory or wealth creation background
