The Tax Accountant will prepare and review individual and business tax returns, ensure tax compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and assist with tax planning strategies for clients. Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial information, preparing and reconciling financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, and identifying potential tax issues or opportunities. The role also involves communicating with clients to gather required documentation, answering tax-related queries,



and collaborating with colleagues to maintain consistent service standards. The successful candidate will contribute to process improvements and stay updated on changes in tax legislation and accounting standards.QualificationsStrong skills in Tax Preparation and Tax Compliance, with the ability to interpret and apply tax legislation accurately.Sound knowledge of Tax and related advisory practices, including basic tax planning for individuals and small businesses.Proficiency in Accounting and preparation of Financial Statements, including reconciliations and reporting.Experience using accounting and tax software, as well as standard office applications.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with high attention to detail.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly to clients.Ability to work on-site in Perth, WA, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate within a small team environment.Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certification or eligibility (e.g., CPA or equivalent) is an advantage.
