We are seeking a senior Business Analyst resource to assist in the delivery of projects for a federal government client. Projects will include:

- Enterprise Resource and Planning (ERP) - specifically implementing HCM (HR) modules of WorkDay
- Data migration and enterprise data platform - ERP reporting
- Unified Grants

Key duties and responsibilities:

- Reporting and analytics requirements gathering, including working with Finance, HR and Grants stakeholders to analyse existing reports and define future-state reporting needs.
- Data migration support activities such as business validation, reconciliation, data quality assessment and testing.
- Documenting as is (current state) process documentation and assisting in developing to be (future state) process documentation
- ERP and business process analysis activities, including workshop facilitation, process mapping and fit-gap analysis.
- The applicant will need the ability to work autonomously and on multiple items at the same time.
- Communicate and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to capture and translate business requirements.
- Propose innovative and more efficient business process approaches using structured methods.
- Coordinate with project teams and project stakeholders




- Model options and present summarised analysis to senior manager sponsors - make recommendations, champion cutting-edge solutions to achieve outcomes
- Support project managers to develop work breakdown structures, schedules and cost estimates.
- Development of solution acceptance plans and test plan approaches as part of holistic project services.
- Support technology and digital investment planning process using structured assessment methods aligned to enterprise strategy.

The successful candidate will have:

- Essential: Tertiary qualifications and/or at least 5 years business analyst experience on technology projects using structured approaches that complement modern project delivery methodologies, undertaking analysis and design using structured methods.
- Highly engaged individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to elicit current state process, pain points and desired future state outcomes.
- Highly desirable: Previous work on enterprise resource planning (ERP) projects, specifically human resources (HR) system implementation projects.
- Desirable: Previous work on grants management or data migration, reporting or platform projects.
- Highly desirable: Experience working with either TechnologyOne, Aurion, WorkDay, Dynamics 365 CRM, ERP reporting or data migration initiatives.
- Desirable: Experience working with DevOps or Dynamics 365
