Falvey’s Hotel Gatton is looking for a passionate, hardworking Chef or experienced Cook to join our team and assist in the daily kitchen operations. The job will require a Chef/Cook who is passionate about cooking traditional pub food with customer focused menu options. The position is for approximately 30 hours per week.
The successful applicant will:
- Be a qualified chef with a Certificate 3 in commercial cookery or higher OR a highly experienced Cook
- Be able to work a roster of split shifts, nights, weekends and any required days during the year
- Be self-motivated and able to work as part of a team and/or independently
- Have a solid sense of team comradery and willing to assist staff in any area of the establishment if required
- Have a friendly and reliable nature,
being able to work well under pressure and display a genuine passion for the industry and the venue
Falvey’s Hotels include six venues in Ipswich, Lockyer Valley and Toowoomba. Our Gatton venue has seen some amazing growth since taking ownership in December 2023 and our team is looking for the right Chef/Cook to join and continue that growth.
