Job description:

Fixed contact | Rail Project | Experience Desired

We are seeking a reliable Painter Assistant with spray‑painting experience to support our team on a major rail project located in Kangy Angy, NSW. This role involves assisting qualified spray painters working on train carriages and components, with a strong focus on preparation, paint application support, and safe work practices.

About the Role – Spray Painting Support

You will be working on‑site in Kangy Angy, assisting with:

- Surface preparation (sanding, masking, cleaning)

- Supporting spray painters with tools, equipment, and materials

- Mixing paints and handling products safely

- Setting up and packing down work areas

- General labouring tasks as required

- Maintaining a clean, protected, and organised workspace

What We’re Looking For





- Previous spray‑painting or automotive painting experience (desired)

- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

- Physically fit and able to work on your feet

- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions

- RIW card beneficial for rail‑adjacent work (we can assist with obtaining this)

- Ability to commute to Kangy Angy NSW daily — essential

- Australian work rights
