About the role

We require a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Perth / Welshpool based design team, contributing & coordinating design on major project projects that ECG has been driving from study phase.

About the candidate

Have a solid understanding of technical (E, I&C;) principals relating to the large industrial & complex operational assets that our clients own and operate.

- Relevant Electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience co ordinating / driving specialized electrical teams, on front end greenfield and brownfield development projects with complex electrical scope




- LV design experience (LV MCC design, protection & co-ordination studies)
- Major project design experience throughout the design cycle
- Experience / exposure to project delivery, driving a job, (not necessarily an entire project!)
- Understand the project development process for juniors/mid-tier miners
- Provide specialized advice and guidance to client
- The ability to contribute / influence in a meeting; exercises good judgment on how to contribute, and collaborative behavior

The role will be Perth / Welshpool based, working with an established design team, however there may be occasional input on the studies and reports of our Toronto office, as well as the coordination of works from our engineering office in Manila.

To be considered for the role of Lead Electrical Engineer you need solid design experience on complex high value electrical projects. ECG Engineering hire for the long term, not for projects, and while these gold projects have years of work in it, as the plant completes commissioning, you will have the option to move onto a range of ECG’s other ongoing projects in the minerals and metals space.
