ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the joint Managing Directors, you will oversee the day to day operations of the organisation while ensuring the highest standards of participant care, compliance and operational performance.
You will provide leadership across our support teams while driving service quality, workforce development and continuous improvement.
This is a genuine leadership role where your ideas and experience will influence the future direction of the organisation.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for:
Operational Leadership:
· Overseeing daily service delivery operations
· Managing workforce allocation and rostering oversight
· Ensuring high quality participant supports
· Monitoring operational performance
· Supporting organisational growth
Leadership:
· Leading and mentoring support workers
· Conducting supervision and performance reviews
· Supporting recruitment and onboarding
· Building a positive workplace culture
· Coaching staff to achieve excellence
NDIS Compliance:
· Ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards
· Supporting audit readiness
· Monitoring participant documentation
· Incident management oversight
· Quality assurance and continuous improvement
Participant & Stakeholder Engagement:
· Building strong relationships with participants and families
· Liaising with Support Coordinators and allied health professionals
· Resolving operational issues professionally
· Supporting participant onboarding
ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced operational leader who enjoys developing people and improving services.
You'll bring:
- Experience within the NDIS, disability, community services or health sector
- Previous leadership or operations management experience
- Strong knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards
- Excellent people leadership skills
- Experience managing teams
- Outstanding communication and relationship building abilities
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills
- A passion for improving participant outcomes
Qualifications (Highly Regarded)
· Community Services
· Disability
· Leadership or Management
· Human Services
· Nursing or Allied Health (desirable)
Experience preparing organisations for NDIS audits will be highly regarded.
