We currently have full-time positions for LV, Commercial or Road Transport Vehicle Mechanics to work as Mobile Plant Mechanics. Successful applicants will be paid a wage while they complete 2 sets of 4 week practical training in mobile plant repair and hydraulics in Perth while working with one of our Tier 1 partner clients in the mining industry.

Training Blocks at TAFE
Block 1: 26 August to 25 September
Block 2: 16 November to 11 December

About the role:

After completing your 8-9 weeks' training, you will continue to work onsite with one of our partner Clients either in Perth or in a regional mining site in Western Australia. Depending on the location, your key duties, while working for a leading mining contractor and completing your qualification can include:

- Preventative maintenance and servicing.
- Breakdown and repairs.
- Diagnostics and analytics.
- Component fitting.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Australian Cert III in LV Mechanic, Vehicle Commercial or Road Vehicle.
- Minimum 3 years' LV,



Vehicle Commercial or Road Transport mechanic experience in a dealership or independent workshop.
- Demonstrated employment stability.
- Previous exposure to heavy machinery will be highly regarded.
- Electrical and hydraulic knowledge is advantageous.
- You need to be Perth or WA based (It's a outstanding time to move to Perth to start your new career in mining).
