The Role:
As a Line Cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and care. You’ll work as part of a busy kitchen team to ensure every plate made with love and served with pride.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are always followed
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house and back-of-house staff
- Assist with inventory, prep, and daily cleaning as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience with Italian cuisine preferred, including fresh pasta and woodfire pizza oven experience
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations and food safety
- Good knife skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Team player with a solid work ethic and reliability
- Availability to work over a 7-day rotating roster; including weekdays, weekends and public holidays
