As a Recovery Support Worker, you'll support people to build skills, confidence, and independence while creating meaningful connections that encourage recovery and wellbeing. Roster line 1:

Monday: 7am-3pm, Thursday: 7am-3pm, Friday: 2.30pm to 10.30pm, Saturday: 2.30pm to 10.30pm (Saturday sleepover), Sunday: 2.30pm to 10.30pm

Roster line 2:

Monday: 2:30 - 10:30pm, Tuesday: 7am-3pm, Wednesday: 2.30pm to 10.30pm (Sleepover), Thursday: 7am-3pm, Friday: 7am-3pm

A day on the job will see you;

- Support residents to achieve their recovery and wellbeing goals.

- Build meaningful relationships that foster trust, confidence, and independence.

- Assist with daily living skills, routines, and medication support.

- Encourage community participation and social connection.

- Create a safe, welcoming, and recovery-focused environment.

- Maintain accurate records and contribute to effective support planning

- A genuine passion for supporting people on their recovery journey.

- A Certificate IV in Mental Health (or equivalent qualification).

- Compassion, resilience, and a person-centred approach.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

- The ability to remain calm, adaptable, and professional in a dynamic environment.





- An understanding of recovery-oriented practice and trauma-informed care.

- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

About Us

For 60 years, St Bart’s has supported people experiencing homelessness and severe and persistent mental health issues as they rebuild their lives. We started as a small homeless shelter for men and have grown into a progressive and inclusive organisation providing support to hundreds of Western Australian men, women and families across four key service areas. Our goal is to provide safe, supported accommodation and services to people who need it the most, regardless of background, age, gender or ethnicity.
