About the Project CPC Engineering is delivering a mid-sized, lump sum minerals processing project. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of delivery from execution through to construction and handover. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on the complexity and pace of process plant construction, and who understands what it takes to deliver a lump sum contract profitably and on schedule.
The Role Reporting to the Manager of Projects, you'll be accountable for the overall delivery of the project — safety, cost, schedule, quality and client relationship management. You'll lead a multidisciplinary project team and work closely with engineering, procurement and construction functions to ensure the project is delivered to specification and within the contracted lump sum.
Key Responsibilities Full accountability for project delivery under a lump sum contract structure, including cost control, forecasting and margin protectionLead project planning, scheduling and risk management across all phases (engineering, procurement, construction)Manage the construction execution strategy, including contractor and subcontractor performanceDrive HSE culture and compliance across the project team and siteManage client relationships, contract administration, variations and claimsLead and mentor site and project support teamsReport project status,



risks and financial performance to senior leadershipEnsure quality assurance and compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements
About You To succeed in this role, you will have:Extensive technical Project Management experience on mineral processing, industrial or heavy process infrastructure projectsA robust Construction background — ideally with hands-on site experience prior to moving into project managementProven experience delivering lump sum / fixed price contracts, with a solid understanding of contract and commercial managementTertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related disciplineStrong commercial acumen and demonstrated ability to manage project cost, schedule and riskExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across client, contractor and internal teamsA genuine commitment to safety leadershipExperience working in the minerals, mining, or heavy industrial sector highly regarded
