The Role
Undertaking research, analysis and evaluation to support strategic policy development, legislative review and portfolio initiatives in consultation with internal and external stakeholders.Coordinating and preparing high quality briefings, discussion papers, reports, submissions and correspondence, including responses to Ministerial, executive, parliamentary and intergovernmental enquiries.Implementing and managing responses to operational and portfolio issues to ensure alignment with departmental and government objectives,
legislative requirements and stakeholder expectations.Representing the department and the Executive Director on working groups, committees and forums, including providing executive and statutory body support as required.Maintaining awareness of industry trends, emerging issues and risks.
