About the role

SCW and Fabrication Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Welders, Boilermakers, and Pipefitters to join our team in Perth, WA. As a member of our skilled trades team, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of our client's industrial equipment and facilities.

What you'll be doing

1. Perform high-quality welding to industry standards using a variety of welding techniques and processes

2. Fabricate, install, and maintain boilers, pressure vessels, and piping systems

3. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation

4. Operate a range of hand and power tools, as well as specialised equipment, to complete tasks efficiently and safely

5. Collaborate with the project team to problem-solve and provide technical expertise

6. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Welder, Boilermaker, or Pipefitter

2. Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding

3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics

4.



Knowledge of boiler and pressure vessel installation, maintenance, and repair

5. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

6. Commitment to safety and a strong safety-first mindset

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
