We are seeking a full time Human Resources Coordinator at The Reef Hotel Casino, the pre-eminent centre for gaming, entertainment, food and accommodation in Cairns.

Working closely with the Executive Manager Human Resources and the wider HR team, you'll gain exposure to all aspects of Human Resources while coordinating your own portfolio of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand and work within selected HR portfolios including Recruitment, Training, Performance Management, Industrial Relations, and Workplace Health & Safety.

- Demonstrate initiative, responsibility, and accountability by coordinating assigned HR portfolios.

- Gain knowledge of business operations and key commercial drivers to deliver effective and practical HR support.

- Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and documentation as required.

- Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures.

- Provide support across day-to-day HR administration and processes.

Criteria

- Previous experience in a HR administrator or coordinator role desirable.

- Strong communication and organisation skills,



with the ability to adapt to changing priorities

- Confident using Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and learning new systems.

- Ability to take initiative and work independently while knowing when to seek support and collaborate.

- Ability to work in a structured and highly regulated environment.

- Friendly, professional and approachable, with the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of the business.

- Previous experience in hospitality highly regarded.

- Formal HR Qualifications (desirable but not essential).
