An opportunity exists for a Machinery Cleaner/Yard hand to join our team based at our Gepps Cross Branch
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Cleaning and detailing of new and used machinery using high-pressure washers
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free wash pad at all times
- Promptly report any faults, damages, or potential hazards to your direct supervisor
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining yard and showroom
- When required, assist with any pick up and delivery of equipment and parts using ute/trailer and loading and unloading of truck/ute/trailer
- Operating of forklift (if licenced) for loading and unloading purposes and organising the yard
- Organisation of yard to accommodate new and used machinery arrivals, display machines, warehouse storage/organisation
- Ensuring compliance with OHS requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to learn
To be successful in this role the applicant must present well and have the following requirements:
- Be physically fit and comfortable doing manual outdoor labour and cleaning tasks
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Previous detailing experience (preferred but not essential)
- Previous experience working around heavy duty equipment and machinery (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work well in a rapid-paced environment
- A willingness to learn and follow instructions and direction
- Good organisation skills to work efficiently
- Ability to work autonomously with initiative
- Forklift licences (preferred but not essential)
A current SA drivers licence and high-risk forklift licence will be looked upon favourably, but not essential. Full-time, long-term employment with a stable company.
