Cairns Auto Spark & Mechanical is looking for an Apprentice Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team in Cairns.
This position would ideally suit a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice who is looking for a long-term career opportunity with strong training, variety and career progression. A 1st year apprentice may also be considered if they have the right attitude, work ethic and genuine interest in the automotive industry.
We are the only accredited Bosch Car Service workshop in Cairns, giving you access to industry-leading Bosch training, technical support and accreditation opportunities.
This is a excellent opportunity for an apprentice who wants to learn properly, develop robust diagnostic and repair skills, and become a highly skilled tradesperson.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be:
- A current automotive apprentice, preferably 2nd or 3rd year
- Reliable, punctual and motivated
- Keen to learn and develop your skills
- Interested in diagnostics, mechanical repairs and modern vehicle technology
- Willing to learn auto electrical skills
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Committed to quality workmanship and doing the job properly
