Role Description:

As a Procurement Officer you will work through the end-to-end activities from sourcing and tendering through to negotiation, supplier management, and ongoing delivery of direct procurement. In these activities you will be responsible for delivering to cost, schedule, quality, and safety requirements of the business.

Support and deliver end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing strategies, tendering, evaluation, contracting, and supplier management
Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop effective procurement strategies
Support tender processes, negotiations, and contract establishment
Manage supplier relationships to drive performance, outcomes, and continuous improvement
Contribute to strategies, commercial outcomes, and risk management
Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, systems, and efficiency
Essential Skills:

Demonstrated experience in procurement/supply chain/commercial will be required.




Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across complex environments
Experience with tendering, evaluation, and contract lifecycle management
A collaborative, proactive approach with a focus on delivering outcome
Defence industry experience would be highly regarded.
Previous experience with Aveva and/or Oracle will be highly regarded.
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
