Experienced HD Fitter - Heavy Earthmoving Equipment (Scrapers)
Location: Perth, WA
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel (HD) Fitter to join our team in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tradesperson with a solid background in maintaining and repairing heavy earthmoving equipment, with a particular focus on scrapers.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repair of heavy earthmoving machinery, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable, and productive. The role offers a mix of workshop and field service work, depending on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
- Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Perform repairs and overhauls on heavy earthmoving equipment.
- Specialise in the maintenance and repair of scrapers.
- Complete job documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Work safely and comply with company and site safety procedures.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic/HD Fitter trade qualification.
- Proven experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment.
- Strong experience with scraper maintenance and repairs.
- Solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current driver's licence (HR licence desirable).
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
