About the Business

Polaris Engineering delivers high-quality engineering and construction solutions, specialising in heavy fabrication and surface treatment services including structural steel, platework, pipework, tank construction, and rotatable maintenance services. Our clients include major companies across the industrial, mining, resources, and construction sectors.

Due to a strong pipeline of long-term projects, we are seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our team for ongoing site-based roles across WA.

About the Role

We are looking for reliable, safety-focused personnel seeking consistent, long-term work and who are willing to contribute across multiple areas on site.

Boilermakers

- Carry out fabrication, welding, installation, and maintenance activities on structural steel, platework, tanks, chutes, and mechanical equipment.

- Perform repairs, modifications, and shutdown/project works to a high standard.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication documents.

- Work collaboratively with supervisors, trades personnel, and project teams.

- Assist with general site activities when required.

Mandatory Requirements

- Trade Certificate – Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or equivalent.

- Minimum 5 years site-based mining experience.

- Proven experience with structural steel, platework, tank fabrication, and heavy industrial maintenance.

- Ability to interpret workshop and engineering drawings.





- Current Construction White Card.

- Working at Heights (within 2 years).

- National Police Clearance (within 6 months).

- Current Driver's License.

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.

- Available for immediate or short-notice start.

Highly Regarded

- Confined Space (within 2 years).

- EWP Ticket.

- Forklift Licence.

- HR Driver's Licence.

- Experience with mine plant rebuilds, shutdowns, or refurbishment projects.

- Multi-skilled trade background.
