As we continue to grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Venue Manager who is passionate about hospitality, leadership and business development. Position Details

Position: Venue Manager – Events, Functions & Hospitality

Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent

Hours: Minimum 38 hours per week (including evenings and weekends)

Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 + Superannuation + Performance Bonus

About the Role

This is a hands-on management role where you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the venue while actively growing our functions, events and customer base.

You'll lead our front-of-house team, ensure outstanding customer experiences and build robust relationships within the local community to help increase bookings and venue awareness.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the daily operations of the venue

- Lead, motivate and supervise the front-of-house and bar team

- Coordinate private functions, corporate events and celebrations

- Manage customer enquiries, bookings and event planning

- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times

- Build relationships with local businesses, sporting clubs and community groups

- Promote the venue by visiting nearby businesses and networking within the local community

- Drive function bookings and venue sales

- Recruit, train and develop team members

- Manage staff rosters and labour costs

- Monitor stock control,



ordering and supplier relationships

- Manage cash handling, POS systems and end-of-day procedures

- Ensure compliance with RSA, liquor licensing and health & safety requirements

- Open and close the venue when required

- Provide hands-on support behind the bar and on the floor during busy service periods

About You

The successful applicant will have:

- Previous experience managing a hospitality venue, bar, pub or restaurant

- Strong leadership and people management skills

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Experience coordinating events and private functions

- A proactive attitude with the ability to grow business through networking and community engagement

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Experience with rostering and stock control

- Current RSA Certificate

- WA Approved Manager Card (or willingness to obtain before commencement)

- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

- Current Australian Driver's Licence (preferred)

Bonus Points If You Have

- Existing relationships within the Perth hospitality or corporate community

- Sales or business development experience

- Experience using POS and booking systems

- Social media or event marketing experience
