Volunteer Opportunities at Calvary Kogarah:

We offer a variety of roles to suit your interests, including:

- Welcome & Support – Greet visitors, assist new patients, help them settle in, and offer a friendly cuppa
- Companionship – Spend time with patients through conversation, reading, or gentle activities
- Rehabilitation & Wellness – Assist in the rehab gym or with gentle massage therapy
- Admin - Help with administration
- Biography Writing – support patients in sharing their life stories
- Jolly Trolley – Deliver refreshments and brighten someone’s day




- Special Projects – Wig library, equipment loans, or join our Auxiliary or become a Consumer Representative

If you have a special skill or passion, we’ll work with you to find or create a role that fits.

What You’ll Need

- Warm, friendly personality and valuable communication skills
- Reliability and initiative
- Two references
- NSW Health immunisation compliance (Category A or B depending on role)
- To undergo a National Police Check
- WWCC (for community-based roles
- Completion of mandatory training
