About the role
- Undertake a Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade)
- Learn sheet‑metal fabrication: cutting, forming, assembly and finishing
- Assist experienced tradespeople, follow drawings and quality standards
- Work with advanced automated fabrication equipment, gaining skills in laser cutting and automation processes.
- Safe use and maintenance of machinery, hand and power tools.
Hours & pay
- Full time, 38 hours per week
- Apprenticeship wage as per award (negotiable based on experience)
Requirements
- Driver’s license (essential)
- Good attitude, strong work ethic, punctuality and willingness to learn
- Basic numeracy and ability to read simple drawings preferred
