Roadbend Motors is seeking an experienced Jaguar Land Rover/Prestige Technician to join our dynamic team in Perth, WA. This is a full-time position based at our Perth WA 6061 location. As a Jaguar Land Rover/Prestige Technician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional diagnostic and repair services on prestige vehicles, with a particular focus on Jaguar and Land Rover models. This role is strategically important to our workshop operations, as it directly impacts customer satisfaction, vehicle quality standards, and the reputation of Roadbend Motors within the prestige automotive market.
What you'll be doing
1. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults on Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment
2. Performing routine maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks and brake inspections
3. Conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections and identifying necessary repairs or maintenance requirements
4. Reading and interpreting technical service bulletins, repair manuals and diagnostic documentation specific to prestige vehicles
5. Carrying out complex repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension, brake systems and electronic control modules
6. Documenting all work completed accurately on job cards and workshop management systems.
7. Adhering to all health and safety regulations and workshop procedures
8. Contributing to a collaborative workshop setting and supporting colleagues when required
What we're looking for
1. Current automotive technician qualification or equivalent recognised trade certification in automotive repair
2. Minimum 3-5 years' hands-on experience working as a qualified automotive technician
3. Proven experience diagnosing and repairing Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles, or equivalent prestige automotive brands
4. Strong proficiency with modern diagnostic equipment and computer-based vehicle management systems
5. Solid understanding of mechanical,
electrical and electronic vehicle systems
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work methodically through complex technical issues
7. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers in an accessible manner
8. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
9. A valid Australian driving licence
