About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our Atherton store located in Atherton, QLD 4883. This is a full time position offering an excellent opportunity to manage all aspects of store operations, lead a dedicated team, and drive business success in the retail and agricultural products sector. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining profitability, and creating a positive working environment that reflects our company values.

What you'll be doing

1. Managing all daily store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and merchandising to maximise sales and customer satisfaction

2. Leading, training, and engaging a team of store staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high service standard.

1. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements

2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, addressing queries and complaints professionally and promptly

3. Implementing effective promotional strategies and marketing initiatives to drive customer engagement and sales growth

4. Managing store premises, including visual merchandising, cleanliness, and maintenance to create an inviting shopping environment

5. Analysing sales data and market trends to inform business decisions and optimise product offerings

6. Reporting regularly to senior management on store performance, staffing matters, and operational challenges

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role within the consumer products sector

2. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

3. Excellent financial acumen and demonstrated ability to maximise profitability and control costs

4. Outstanding customer service skills and a genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience

5. Experience in stock management, inventory control, and merchandising practices

6. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with the capacity to prioritise competing demands

7. Knowledge of retail systems, point-of-sale software, and data analysis tools

8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with staff and customers

9. A proactive approach to problem-solving with robust decision-making capabilities

10. Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required

11. Desirable: Experience in the fertilizer, agricultural, or garden retail sector
