Opportunity:
Legeneering currently have an exciting prospect for a Technical Document Writer to join our team at Henderson on a permanent full-time basis.
Duties and Responsibilities Overview:
- Develop, organise, write, and edit policies, procedures, forms, and other Technical Documentation.
- Research the best practice of technical writing and document control principles within the industry.
- Research and collect information from system experts.
- Work in close collaboration with other department members to produce technical documents that is easily understood, accurate and are fit for purpose.
- Ensure the Technical Documentation are clear and concise for internal and external stakeholders.
- Review and update existing documents to maintain continuity of style of content.
- Manage updates and revisions of procedural documents.
- Issuing the document and maintaining the master document register.
- Ensuring that the Technical Documentation is known within the relevant departments.
- Adhere to all standards, guidelines and best practices to be able to scale the documentation.
- Ensure all document control requirements are met.
- Ensure documents for use are current.
- Ensure that an easily identifiable and documented audit trial for documentation produced.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while working independently or with other team members.
Minimum Position Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in technical writing
- Current driver licence.
- High-level Microsoft Office skills.
- Oil & Gas, Marine or Defence experience is desirable.
