THE TRUSTEE FOR DAHAL TRUST Located in HomeCo. Tuggerah, The Shed Café is a rapid-paced, high-volume café known for exceptional coffee, high-quality food, and outstanding customer service. We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Full-Time Chef to join our kitchen team and assist in managing daily culinary operations.

Task & responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present high-quality café dishes, daily chef specials, sauces, and soups to exact standards. 1.Accommodate customer dietary preferences and allergy requirements with tailored recipe modifications. 2. Manage kitchen stock levels, food costs, portion control, and wastage.

3. Ensure strict compliance with safe food handling regulations, WHS policies, and hygiene standards. 4.



Collaborate effectively with floor staff and managers to maintain efficient kitchen service. 5. Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and updating offerings to align with food trends.

Qualification & experience Education: Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (Diploma of Hospitality Management highly regarded). Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Chef in a quick-paced café or restaurant. Technical Skills: Robust knife skills, culinary expertise, menu costing knowledge, and stock control ability.
