Westside Energy is looking for an experienced Battery Installer and A-Class Electrician to join our in-house Adelaide team.
We are not looking for someone to race through as many installations as possible. We want a capable electrician who takes pride in doing the job safely, neatly and correctly—and wants to work for a company that values the same things.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing and commissioning residential battery systems
- Completing hybrid inverter and solar upgrades
- Installing backup circuits, gateways and energy-management equipment
- Carrying out switchboard upgrades and associated electrical work
- Testing, fault-finding and resolving technical issues
- Completing compliance documents and installation records
- Explaining completed systems clearly to customers
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional worksite
What We Won’t Ask You to Do
- Walk blindly into poorly scoped installations
- Compromise safety or workmanship to meet unrealistic volumes
- Carry the entire customer, sales and administration workload yourself
- Repair questionable work without the time or information to do it properly
- Spend every week travelling across regional South Australia
About You
- South Australian A-Class electrical licence, including SAA and GCBS accreditation
- Current driver’s licence
- Proven battery installation and commissioning experience
- Strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000 and battery installation requirements
- Confident with switchboards, backup systems and fault-finding
- Organised, dependable and able to work independently
- Professional with customers and respectful of their homes
- Proud of neat cabling, accurate labelling and clean finished work
Experience with leading battery and hybrid inverter brands will be highly regarded.
