About the role As a Customer Management Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Safer Communities team. You'll provide high-quality customer and administrative support across Community Safety, Public & Environmental Health, and School Crossings, helping ensure services are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with community expectations.
Working across a range of systems and processes, you will manage applications, permits, registrations and invoices, respond to customer enquiries, maintain accurate records, and support data quality activities. You will also work closely with internal teams to improve processes, resolve system issues and help maintain consistent service delivery across the department.This is a full-time permanent position (38 hours per week) with a Salary Range between $73,129 and $76,501 per Annum (Band 4), plus superannuation.

Experience and skills we’re looking forExperience in an administrative, customer service or business support role.Experience processing applications, permits, registrations, invoices or similar transactions.Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and data.Experience using business systems, databases or customer management systems.The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills,
with the ability to provide excellent customer service.The ability to follow procedures consistently while identifying opportunities for improvement.Experience reviewing information for accuracy and resolving errors or discrepancies.The ability to work collaboratively with a range of internal teams and stakeholders.Confidence using technology and learning recent systems and processes quickly.If you have some but not all these skills or experience, we still encourage you to apply.
