Position Profile: An opportunity exists for a Program Support Officer to join our team within the WACHS Kimberley Aged Care Services (KACS) team. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration & Program Support Officer to provide essential administrative and operational support across a diverse range of aged care programs.
This pivotal role is responsible for maintaining client databases and program records, coordinating reporting requirements, supporting program coordinators and leadership teams with projects and policy development, and ensuring the efficient day-to-day administration of the service.
Working closely with the Business Manager, Program Coordinators, and the broader KACS team, the successful candidate will contribute to quality improvement initiatives, records management, compliance activities, and special projects that enhance service delivery. This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in supporting programs that make a meaningful difference to older people and communities across the Kimberley region.

The organisation comprises seven regions, with a strong network of public hospitals,

WACHS Kimberley is the most northern health region of WACHS. The Kimberley region has approximately 200 Aboriginal communities, over 34 different Aboriginal language groups and 45 percent of the population are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. WACHS Kimberley consists of six hospitals, an inpatient mental health unit, three Community Directorates and a Corporate Office. WACHS Kimberley provides hospital, community health, public health, remote area health, community aged care, and mental health services across the region through a dedicated team of medical, nursing, Aboriginal health, allied health and support staff.
