Pacific Fresh is a citrus packing facility that lies within the heart of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation area. We source a large variety of locally grown citrus accessed from our very own farms in the Riverina Region of NSW.

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Processing Team Leader to join our team at Pacific Fresh. In this role, you will support the Processing Supervisor to ensure the efficient operation of the citrus processing line, including receival, sorting, grading, and post-harvest operations. You will lead a team, maintain productivity, and uphold quality and safety standards throughout the season.
This is an initial 3 month contract with the potential to move into a permanent role .
Hours of Work
- Off Season: Monday to Friday approximately 6 hours per operational day
- Peak Season: Monday to Saturday, working on rotating shifts 8-10+ hours per day

Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise and lead processing line staff to meet KPIs and maintain workflow.
- Promote and enforce Workplace Health & Safety compliance.
- Train team members on food safety, machinery operation, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor quality control to ensure compliance with HACCP and customer standards.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate with maintenance teams.
- Manage inventory and processing schedules to avoid downtime.
- Operate and maintain citrus grading and processing software.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments.
- Resolve conflicts, evaluate performance, and foster a positive team environment.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in citrus or packing facility preferred (not essential).
- NSW Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and processing software).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- First Aid and Chemical Handling Certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Flexible with working hours, including long shifts during peak season.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
