Available Positions Position 1 – Train Maintainer (Mechanical) | Claisebrook
- Maintenance rotating roster
- Temporary with opportunity to become permanent after 3 months
- Mix of day and night shifts
Position 2 – Train Maintainer (Mechanical) | Nowergup
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Ongoing until 31 December 2026
- Opportunity to move into a permanent Bellevue role
- Overtime and weekend work available
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on passenger trains
- Carry out mechanical fault finding and repairs
- Complete inspections and testing of train systems
- Repair oil leaks, corrosion and mechanical components
- Replace cab windscreen seals and degraded conduit
- Complete painting and cosmetic repairs
- Read and work from maintenance manuals and procedures
- Maintain high safety and quality standards
About You
- Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter or HD Fitter
- Experience working on heavy machinery, mining equipment, transport or industrial plant
- Rail experience is advantageous but not essential
- Solid mechanical fault-finding skills
- Safety focused with a positive attitude
- Able to work both independently and within a team
- Forklift Licence highly regarded (Nowergup role)
