About the Role

An exciting prospect exists for an experienced Building Inspector to join a high-performing inspections team. Working closely with the Division Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring construction quality, structural compliance, and workmanship standards across a variety of residential building projects.

This position offers autonomy, variety and the opportunity to make a genuine impact on project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct a variety of building inspections including Pre-purchase inspections, PCI inspections and various structural inspections during other stages of construction
- Inspect roof frames, brickwork, timber wall frames and trusses
- Inspect concrete slabs including suspended and ground slabs prior to pours
- Assess waterproofing works and roof sheeting installations
- Complete dilapidation inspections
- Prepare clear, detailed inspection reports and recommendations
- Liaise with builders, contractors, and internal stakeholders

Skills & Experience





- Previous experience in building inspection or construction is essential
- Registered Builder qualification highly regarded
- Strong understanding of NCC requirements and Australian Standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively
- Strong team collaboration and mentoring capabilities
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence required
