Our client is a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation who are seeking a Motorway Systems Engineer to join their team.
The role will manage the assurance effort for critical infrastructure such as tunnel operating systems, including system maintenance and upgrade of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the development and implementation of tunnel system assurance documentation, code of maintenance standards, system enhancements, technical standards, design control, configuration guidelines and reporting guidelines for Tunnel system maintenance works to meet business and legislative requirements
2.
Oversee the quality and appropriateness of technical specifications and specialist technical input to ensure adherence to project outcomes and performance requirements and facilitate technical problem solving to enable regulatory and compliance obligations and contract performance requirements to be met.
3. Project Management skills- Prepare briefs, develop, monitor, and manage projects, and report on progress to evaluate program and project/asset performance for current and forward years to comply with agreed objectives.
Desirable Criteria:
1. Four year Degree / Tertiary qualification in System Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
2. Demonstrated technical capability & extensive qualified experience/ knowledge in tunnel operating system designs, ITS, PLC programming, system testing and specifications.
3. Possess a valid Australian driverâs license and be willing to travel interstate on occasion.
On offer is a daily rate contract at a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation, with a highly competitive daily rate.
