About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse Manager to join a busy medical practice on a permanent full-time basis. This leadership role is responsible for the operational management of the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and effective clinical operations.

Working closely with the Practice Manager and General Practitioners, you will lead, support, and mentor nursing staff while overseeing the day-to-day performance of the Treatment Room and clinical services.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide leadership, guidance, and effective management to a team of Nurses.

- Ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care across a range of clinical services.

- Coach, train, and mentor nursing team members to support professional growth and optimal patient outcomes.

- Oversee the effective operation of the Treatment Room, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and adherence to best practice procedures.

- Assist General Practitioners with health assessments, care plans, and chronic disease management reviews.

- Collaborate with the Practice Manager to support operational efficiency and achieve business objectives.

- Monitor clinical standards, processes, and compliance requirements to maintain a high standard of care.

- Foster a positive, patient-focused, and collaborative workplace culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience within a healthcare setting.

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

- Previous experience in General Practice, Primary Care, or an Acute Care environment.

- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- A patient-centred approach and genuine passion for delivering quality healthcare.

- The ability to mentor, motivate, and develop team members.
