AX Fasteners Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Storeperson to join our team at our Midvale warehouse facility. This is a full-time position based in Midvale, WA 6056. As a Storeperson, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organisation of our warehouse operations, ensuring that stock is accurately managed, safely stored, and readily accessible for distribution. This position is essential to our logistics operations and directly impacts our ability to serve our customers effectively.
Key responsibilities
1. Receiving, unpacking, and checking incoming stock for accuracy and damage
2. Organising and storing products in the warehouse using appropriate storage systems and methods
3. Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts
4. Locating and picking items from stock to fulfil customer orders
5. Packing and preparing orders for dispatch in a timely manner
6. Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
7. Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
8. Following all health and safety protocols and procedures
9. Assisting with stocktake activities when required
10. Liaising with other warehouse staff and management to ensure smooth operations
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience working in a warehouse or storage environment is highly desirable
2. Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one
3. Solid organisational and attention to detail skills
4. Ability to work efficiently and safely in a physical, fast-paced environment
5. Good communication and teamwork abilities
6.
Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems is advantageous
7. Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry items regularly
8. Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
9. Reliability and a strong work ethic
10. Current driver's licence is preferred
11. Avaliable to work Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm
