We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Horticulturist / Garden Maintenance & Lawn Care Specialist to join our team.

This role is suited to someone who takes genuine pride in their work, understands the importance of efficiency and presentation, and has the experience and confidence to maintain gardens to an exceptional standard.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and passionate about creating beautiful gardens while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and caring for residential gardens, ensuring each property is presented to a consistently high standard.

The successful applicant will be someone who can work independently, manage their time effectively, and complete jobs efficiently without compromising on quality.

You will have strong horticultural knowledge, excellent lawn care skills, and the ability to identify what needs to be done to achieve the best possible outcome for each garden.

Key Responsibilities

- General garden maintenance across residential properties
- Lawn care including mowing, edging, trimming, fertilising, weed control, and maintaining excellent lawn presentation
- Pruning, hedging, planting, mulching, and general horticultural duties
- Identifying plant health issues and providing appropriate care
- Maintaining gardens to a consistently high standard with strong attention to detail
- Working efficiently to complete jobs within allocated timeframes




- Ensuring client properties are left clean, tidy, and professionally presented
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring safe work practices
- Communicating professionally with clients and the team

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Holds a full Australian driver’s licence (essential)
- Has a Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent qualification (preferred, however not essential)
- Has 5+ years of proven experience in professional garden maintenance and lawn care, with strong practical knowledge and demonstrated results
- Can demonstrate the skills, knowledge, and experience required to maintain gardens to a high standard
- Has robust knowledge of plants, pruning techniques, lawn care, and general horticultural practices
- Is highly efficient and takes pride in completing work to a high standard
- Has excellent attention to detail and notices the small things that make a garden look its best
- Is reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality work
- Can work independently and confidently manage their workload
- Has strong problem-solving skills and understands what is required to achieve the best outcome
- Is physically fit and enjoys working outdoors
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
