Key Responsibilities
As a Dewatering Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and operating mine dewatering systems to ensure safe and efficient pit operations.
Your duties will include:
- Installation and removal of submersible bore pump systems
- Operating and maintaining high-lift dewatering pumps
- In-pit dewatering to support mining operations
- HDPE pipeline installation and poly welding
- Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Maintaining safe work practices at all times
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous in-pit dewatering experience (essential)
- Gold mining dewatering experience (highly regarded)
- Experience with high-lift dewatering pumps
- Experience installing and removing submersible bore pump systems
- Current Poly Welding Ticket (issued within the last two years)
- IT Loader Ticket
- HR Truck Licence (minimum C Class Driver's Licence will be considered)
- CN Franna High Risk Work Licence
- DG Dogman High Risk Work Licence
- Excavator experience (desirable but not essential)
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
